Introduction
To lead the new business team to deliver new business in identified target markets and categories, and through a solutioning approach deliver maximised revenue growth (short and long run) and sustainable profitability. Duties&Responsibilities
Leadership and Management of New Business to achieve: Revenue and profit targets Implementation of strategies to drive industry-based models Relationships with key customers Relationships with key suppliers Understanding of market trends including systems, processes, geographic impacts and competitor activity to ensure the strategy remains relevant and effective.Capex forecast and justification Setting and measuring budgets Working closely with Commercial and Supply Chain functions to define the business case and ensure that customer requirements are met at least cost. Desired Experience&Qualification
Degree in Business-related area or similar quantitative discipline is essential. Miller Heiman Sales Methodology Certification Negotiation, sales and customer service experience Extensive experience in sales team set up and development A high level of customer focus Excellent time management, and an ability to manage complexityA highly developed ability to cope with pressure Strong relationship building and influencing skills Strong ability to analyse and develop insight for logistics or related industries Service or solution related experience is a plus (e.g., Distribution, Transport&Logistics, FMCG&Supply Management)
