Electrical/Energy/Renewable Energy Solutions Engineer

to join their team in Johannesburg. This position involves identifying, implementing, and maintaining energy efficiency savings and on-site generation projects. The engineer ensures projects are executed cost-effectively, safely, and in compliance with regulations and specifications, aligned with the Service Level Agreement.Responsibilities:

Identify, implement, and maintain energy efficiency savings and on-site generation for projects. Ensure projects are executed cost-effectively, safely, and in accordance with applicable regulations and specifications. Comply with all aspects of the Service Level Agreement. Conduct energy audits.Assist with business development in pursuit of Energy Service Company (ESCO) contracts. Requirements:

Skills in energy auditing and expertise in energy efficiency projects, including auditing, planning, implementation, and management. Experience with onsite solar distribution and knowledge of small-scale embedded generation. Proficiency in Solar PV design, financials (ROI, IRR, cashflow, lifecycle costs, maintenance), and project management.10– 15 years of experience in energy efficiency, turnkey Solar PV projects, and energy financial calculations. Minimum of a degree in Electrical Engineering. ECSA – Professional Engineer/candidate registration. Desired completion of CEM (Certified Energy Manager) or CEA (Certified Energy Auditor) course.PV Green Card certification. Contact Hire Resolve for your next career-changing move.
