Card Quality Engineer (Johannesburg and Cape Town)

The Role

We are recruiting a QA Engineer based in Johannesburg and Cape Town. The incumbent will need to conduct the relevant root cause analysis and collaborate with QA Analysts and Software Developers to develop solutions suitable for the Client. Minimum Requirements

BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject. Automation, Performance, Cloud, Testing certifications would be an advantage. 10+ years’ experience in a Quality Assurance - Automation and Performance testing role. Experience with one or more Automation tools (Web, Mobile) with designing one or more automation frameworks.Experience in Atlassian tool sets like Jira, Confluence, GitHub. Experience in Java Scripting on Automation. Experience in Appium for mobile automation. Experience with one or more performance testing tools. Analyse the bank systems and implement Non-Functional testing across the bank. Support the test data requirements for the squads.Possess a working understanding of APIs and API frameworks. Knowledge of working with CI/CD pipelines and jobs, involving aligning the automation scripts to the pipeline. Strong verbal and written communication skills. High attention to detail. Knowledge of deploying applications to cloud (AWS preferred).Digital Retail Banking Experience. Responsibilities

Work closely with a team to ensure script implementation complies with best practices and testability requirements. Work closely with software developers and test engineers to understand software workflows, use cases, and specifications in creating automated tests across the application. Expand automation framework to provide additional test capabilities.Analyse existing systems to find areas for improvement. Actively participate in an agile development process. Key Skills
