Duties and responsibilities: Required to ensure that the following compliance systems are appropriately managed and updated withrelevant data and/or documentation in accordance with prescribed requirements and processes: Exclaim Policy Passport Disclosures Management GRC Data Room for Anti-BriberyBarloworld Equipment Intranet page for Ethics and Compliance LMS / Training systems Inoxico Ensuring the management and updating of the Deloitte Case Management System Management of investigation deadlines Tracking of investigation statuses, findings and recommendations Conducting non-complex investigations into ethics and compliance violationsAssist with the management of the Company forensics panel Provide support to the Head: Compliance in ensuring that: All reports required for Group and Divisional reporting are coordinated, reviewed and assuredagainst appropriate evidence with all regions and territories on/before the reporting deadlinesAll compliance certifications are coordinated and signed on/before Group reportingdeadlines All regions and territories are audit ready on an annual basis Group policy proposals are coordinated within the Division and feedback provided by stipulateddeadlines Conflicts of Interest are appropriately managed and addressed in terms of Group policies andDivisional processesAppropriate communication, training and awareness regarding Ethics and Compliance is provided on a regular basis Tracking of status of ethics and compliance training interventions across Company(regions and territories) Facilitation and coordination of ethics, fraud and anti-bribery risk assessmentsInvolved in the development and drafting of Compny policies and procedures Ensuring that policy owners across functions adhere to the governance requirements for thedrafting, approval and communication of Company policies and procedures Ensuring that all Company policies and procedures are uploaded and assigned on thePolicy Passport portal with the appropriate knowledge assessment to test understandingEnsuring that policies and procedures are reviewed within appropriate cycles Qualifications, experience and competencies: Chartered Secretary, registration as a Certified Ethics Officer with the Ethics Institute of southernAfrica, Certified Compliance Practitioner or Professional with the Compliance Institute of southernAfrica would be an advantage.Minimum of three to five years experience in an ethics, compliance or risk-related role Excellent written and oral communication skills, including report writing (drafting and presentation)and the ability to develop and communicate in-house training and correspondence around ethicsand compliance initiativesExcellent computer literacy (sound knowledge of MS Office Word, Excel and Power Point, andGRC systems (preferable) Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain and build multi-level relationships, and theability to positively influence people Business acumen, analytical skills and attention to detailSelf-motivated, self-starter, problem-solver and deadline orientated Demonstrates strong work ethic with a high level of honesty, integrity and alignment
