A reputable Engineering Consulting Firm is looking for a Structural Engineer to join their team, based in Johannesburg.
Key responsibilities:
Preparing reports, designs and drawings
Administration of construction contracts
Making calculations about loads and stresses
Conceptual and detailed design of steel&reinforced concrete structures
Selecting appropriate construction materials
Providing technical advice
Obtaining planning and or building regulations approval
Liaising with relevant professional staff such as architects
Key requirements:
BSc Civil Engineering
Registered as a professional engineer (Pr Eng)
Proficient with PROKON
Rebar detailing experience
Steel design experience
Concrete design experience
Salary: negotiable.
