Financial Controller, Johannesburg

Job Description Managing the budget formulation process resulting in accurate budgets delivered on time and closely monitored.

Assisting operations management to reduce costs and improve profit by closely analyzing and reporting financial data, in particular deviations from budget.

Maintaining accurate records of company accounts strictly in line with legal and unit office requirements.

Ensuring all financial accounting functions are performed timeously, accurately and in compliance with company policy and procedures and GAAP.

Co-ordinating audits and taking prompt corrective action where required.

Qualification&Skills

A three-year financial qualification e.g. BComm / CIS / IAC / CCA) (NQF 5)

Professional registration– CIS and/or IAC preferred

Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar accounting role.
