Senior Enterprise Architect– CIB, Johannesburg

We’re looking for a seasoned

Senior Enterprise Architect

to drive enterprise-wide architecture strategy, ensuring alignment between

business objectives, regulatory requirements, and technology capabilities

across a large-scale CIB environment.

Responsibilities

Define and drive

enterprise architecture strategy

across CIB platforms

Align business and technology roadmaps supporting

trading, risk, payments, and core banking systems

Provide governance across

applications, data, and integration architecture

Review and approve solution designs in line with enterprise standards

Engage senior stakeholders to shape

scalable, resilient solutions

Lead architecture forums and influence

technology investment decisions

Drive

modernization and digital transformation initiatives

Qualifications

Degree in

Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field

TOGAF (or equivalent)

preferred

Cloud certifications (AWS/Azure/GCP) advantageous

Requirements

10–15+ years’ IT experience with strong

Enterprise Architecture exposure

Proven experience within

CIB / financial services environments

Deep understanding of

core banking, trading platforms, and enterprise systems

Strong knowledge of frameworks like

TOGAF

Experience across

application, data, and integration domains

Ability to engage and influence at

executive level
