Job Description We are seeking a highly experienced and results‑driven leader to spearhead the entire insurance product and distribution strategy for our client's Retail/Mass Market/Consumer division.

This pivotal role offers the unique opportunity to innovate from the ground up, ensuring sustainable growth while championing accessible insurance solutions for communities who need them most.

Responsibilities

Strategy Execution:

Develop and drive the comprehensive product and distribution strategy for the insurance portfolio, ensuring tight alignment with the broader Consumer Business objectives.

Market Innovation:

Proactively scout market trends and opportunities to continuously expand and refine the insurance product offering, focusing on customer‑centric design.

Partnership Cultivation:

Build and manage high‑impact strategic relationships with community organizations, internal group companies, and existing corporate client bases to unlock distribution pathways.

Channel Optimization:

Lead the diversification and scaling of distribution channels, including digital platforms, agent networks, and mobile solutions, to maximize product reach.

Product Oversight:

Govern the design, pricing, and performance monitoring of all insurance products, ensuring strict adherence to regulatory frameworks while meeting evolving customer needs.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Represent the business at executive levels when engaging internal and external stakeholders, including community leaders, to secure alignment and drive strategic initiatives.

Requirements

Minimum 10 years of product and business development experience specifically within Long‑Term Insurance.

At least 5 years in a senior management capacity overseeing strategy or product lines.

Appropriate bachelor’s degree or post‑graduate certificate.

Mandatory Regulatory Compliance: Completed RE1 and RE5 certifications.

Must comply with FAIS Fit and Proper requirements to function as a Key Individual/Representative across all listed Long‑Term Insurance subcategories (A, B1, B2, C, and associated 'A' variants).

Proven track record of managing complex stakeholder relationships (community leaders to corporate executives).
