Senior Civil Engineer, Johannesburg

A leading construction company in Gauteng is looking for a Senior Civil Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible to lead infrastructure projects from design to completion, specialising in roads, water, stormwater, and structural systems.

Responsibilities:

• Design and drafting of civil engineering services, including road infrastructure
• Preparation of documentation for submission to contractors
• Compilation of Outline Services Reports for submission to municipalities
• Compilation of Stormwater Management Reports for municipal approval
• Liaising with contractors and issuing design instructions
• Design coordination with other professional disciplines
• Overseeing and coordinating the drawing office

Requirements:

• BEng or BTech in Civil Engineering.
• 6 - 8 years relevant experience.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D as well as experience with SSA or similar design software.
