Seeking an experienced Commercial Credit Risk Leader to enhance team performance.

Our client is dedicated to revitalizing inner cities in South Africa, focusing on urban regeneration projects. For nearly 20 years, they have successfully guided thousands of investors into property entrepreneurship, providing a range of financial products including mortgage loans, bridging finance, and construction loans. With a deep understanding of inner-city property markets, they are committed to fostering property enterprises.

With new funding secured, we have an opening for a Credit Risk Executive to act as a crucial link between deal operations and the Risk Committee, serving as a second line of defense in credit vetting. Leading a team of 9, your responsibilities will encompass strategy design and implementation, performance tracking, and revising credit risk policies and procedures. Additionally, you will manage overall credit risk by reviewing lending proposals, providing advice based on credit trends, monitoring risk metrics, and overseeing post-investment deals.

The ideal candidate will be a dynamic leader with a proven ability to guide a target-driven team, holding a Degree or relevant qualification in Finance, Commerce, or Property studies, with at least 10 years' experience in commercial property finance credit, including 5 years in management.
