Overview

An innovative financial services firm is currently in search of a skilled Fixed Income Analyst to join their dynamic team in Johannesburg.

Responsibilities

Research, analyze, and interpret macro-economic variables for investment decisions Communicate insights to the Fixed Income Portfolio Management and broader Investment team Value fixed income securities and interest rate derivatives Analyze bond yield curves and instrument sensitivity Monitor risk-adjusted returns, optimize portfolios, and enhance credit performance Assist in trading and administration of fixed income securities

Requirements

3-5 years in fixed interest, credit research, or risk management 3+ years fixed income experience (buy side) with proven investment track record Bachelor’s Degree in finance, economics, or related field Ideally pursuing CFA or FRM Proficient in Excel, Bloomberg, and risk systems Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Benefits 

Salary: R300K/yr – R600K/yr, negotiable Our client is offering a highly competitive salary for this role based on experience Full Time
