Overview

This is an excellent opportunity for an entry-level accounting professional to gain experience in the mining sector and contribute to the financial operations of a well-established company.

Responsibilities:

Assist with day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries Prepare and review financial statements and reports Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes Conduct regular reconciliations of balance sheets and bank accounts Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures Support senior accountants in financial analysis and decision-making processes Ensure compliance with accounting principles and internal policies Assist with ad-hoc accounting projects as assigned

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 4-6 years of accounting experience, preferably in the mining industry Familiarity with mining-specific accounting principles and regulations Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Attention to detail and high level of accuracy Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Adaptability and willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
