Key responsibilities: 

During this 18-month programme, you will have the opportunity to:

Gain a working knowledge of agribusiness value chains in South Africa. Understand how debt structuring is done to create an optimal funding and capital structure. Undertake an agricultural viability study and perform financial modelling which take into consideration market and industry dynamics. Be able to discuss farming and financial prospects with agribusiness clients.

Qualifications

Postgraduate qualification (recently completed or completing in 2026): 

BSc Honours in an agriculture related field such as agricultural economics BCom Honours with specialisation in an agriculture related field such as agricultural economics

 Postgraduate qualification to be completed by 31 December 2026. 

Additional Information

Minimum Requirements: 

Must be a South African citizen. Should you have work experience, it should not exceed 18 months. Be able to demonstrate an entry level of insight into South African agriculture. Being able to demonstrate a working knowledge of Financial and Management Accounting will be beneficial. Matric certificate to be submitted with application. Full academic transcripts to be submitted with application for undergraduate and postgraduate studies.
