Responsibilities

Develop detailed designs and layouts for structures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Perform structural analysis and calculations to ensure the safety and stability of structures. Prepare and review engineering drawings, specifications, and reports. Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to integrate structural elements into overall project plans. Conduct site inspections to monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to design specifications. Identify and resolve structural design issues promptly. Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other team members. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in structural engineering.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering or a related field. Professional registration with ECSA is required.  Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on building and infrastructure projects. Proficiency in structural analysis software such as SAP2000, ETABS, or . Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
