Mechanical Engineer - Saudi Arabia, Johannesburg

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing mechanical systems for tanks and related equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
Design and develop mechanical systems for tanks, including piping, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
Conduct feasibility studies, design calculations, and simulations to ensure system performance and compliance with industry standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, production, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless project execution.
Develop and implement testing procedures to validate system performance and identify areas for improvement.
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical system issues, providing technical support and guidance to production and installation teams.
Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
Participate in site visits and installation supervision to ensure that systems are installed correctly and meet design specifications.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum 5-7 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in the tank manufacturing or installation industry.
Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, including thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and materials science.
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS).

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (e.g., API, ASME, OSHA).

Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Experience with tank design, manufacturing, and installation.
Knowledge of Saudi Arabian industry standards and regulations.
Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
