As Head Baker you’ll be leading the bakery division of this busy high-end production facility in charge of new product development, quality, consistency, health & safety, logistics, & staff management.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage daily production in a fast-paced bakery kitchenOversee preparation, baking schedules, & quality controlTrain, mentor, & supervise the bakery teamManage ordering, stock control, & waste reductionMaintain food safety & hygiene standardsRequirements:
SA national or valid work permitProven experience as a Head Baker or Senior Baker in a production environmentStrong knowledge of artisan breads, laminated doughs, & large-batch bakingExcellent leadership & organisational skillsAbility to work early mornings & meet production targetsSalary package: Negotiable & dependent upon experience
