Service Consultant – Chemical & Hygiene Solutions, Johannesburg

Are you a driven, people-focused sales professional with a passion for building relationships and delivering exceptional service? We’re looking for a Service Consultant to join a dynamic team in the cleaning and disinfecting solutions space.

? About the Role

This role focuses on servicing, retaining, and growing an existing client base, while identifying new business opportunities. You’ll also provide hands-on training to clients on product usage, safety, and best practices within retail and food service environments.

? Key Responsibilities

• Manage and service an existing portfolio of clients
• Build strong relationships to retain and grow accounts
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities
• Achieve and exceed sales targets
• Introduce and promote new products within your client base
• Train customers on product application, dilution, and safe handling
• Report on new business prospects and market activity
• Ensure accurate and timely administration and reporting

? Requirements

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a technical sales or service role
• Industry experience in retail and/or food service environments is highly advantageous
• Experience in the chemical or hygiene industry is beneficial
• Strong presentation and client training skills
• Matric (Grade 12) required
• Diploma in Sales/Marketing (advantageous)
• Computer literate
• Valid driver’s license
