Description
Our client is a pioneer within the energy and power sector. They are looking for Senior and Junior Design Engineers (Solar & BESS) to join their team.

Responsibilities:
  • Produce detailed, construction-ready engineering design packs for solar PV and BESS projects, including all required technical drawings and specifications.
  • Perform accurate electrical calculations such as cable sizing, voltage drop, fault levels, and protection coordination.
  • Design PV system layouts, inverter configurations, and battery storage integration solutions.
  • Compile MV and LV equipment specifications, including switchgear and protection settings.
  • Ensure all designs comply with relevant standards, regulations, and grid requirements.
  • Work closely with draughtsmen to finalise and issue complete drawing sets.
  • Conduct design reviews, validate calculations, and manage revisions throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide technical support during construction, including responding to RFIs and resolving design queries.
Requirements:
  • Relevant tertiary degree
  • Diploma with the right experience will be considered
