Hire Resolve’s Client in the food industry is urgently seeking a Senior Bookkeeper. The company is looking for a highly skilled and experienced individual to manage their financial records and ensure accurate bookkeeping functions. You would be Responsible for recording and maintaining a business’ financial transactions, such as purchases, expenses, sales revenue, invoices, and payments.

Responsibilities

Record and maintain financial transactions and documents Monthly general ledger reconciliations. Cash books for 2 companies ( 5 Bank Accounts) Authorizes local payments. Prepares and oversees payments. Approves creditor’s recons and loads payments in the banking system. Weekly sales reporting. Liaise with both internal and external audit teams. Credit control for both site divisions Understanding of VAT within transactions. Update finance lease for both divisions. Process accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and payments Complete bank reconciliations and ensure accurate cash flow management Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure financial compliance Requirements Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Bookkeeper in the food industry Good knowledge and experience of Syspro and Excel. Solid knowledge with general ledger reconciliations. Experience with accounting for finance leases. Degree, diploma or certificate in Accounting, Finance, or related field Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Effective communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Benefits Salary: Negotiable
