Job Description

A leading organisation is recruiting for an Executive Specialist: Data Product to drive the vision, strategy, and delivery of innovative data products that unlock business value, improve operational efficiency, and enhance customer experiences across a complex enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with extensive experience in product management, analytics, AI, and data-driven solutions within large-scale organisations. This role requires a strong leader who can bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders while driving innovation, governance, and measurable business impact.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute the vision, roadmap, and strategy for data products aligned to business objectives. Lead the delivery of scalable and sustainable data-driven products, analytics tools, and AI solutions. Collaborate with Product Owners, data scientists, analysts, engineers, and senior stakeholders to drive successful outcomes. Drive operational efficiency and improve product delivery through best practices and process optimisation. Champion digital transformation initiatives and encourage adoption of innovative technologies and platforms. Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, identifying business challenges and proposing effective data solutions. Establish frameworks to track product performance, value delivery, and user adoption. Ensure all data products comply with governance, risk, and regulatory requirements. Identify opportunities for data monetisation and innovative revenue-generating solutions. Mentor and lead high-performing teams while fostering a collaborative and agile culture. Stay informed on emerging trends in data, analytics, and AI to maintain competitive advantage.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. Postgraduate qualification such as an MBA, Data Science, or Analytics degree is advantageous. Product management certification or Agile/SAFe/Scrum training preferred. Approximately 10 years’ experience in product management, analytics, AI, or data product leadership. Strong understanding of data ecosystems, analytics platforms, AI technologies, and data governance.. Experience within financial services or other highly data-driven industries. Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects. Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong operational delivery, process optimisation, and performance management capabilities. Demonstrated leadership ability with experience developing and mentoring teams.
