Job Opportunity: Financial Manager (CA)
Location: Northern Suburbs, Johannesburg
Salary: Market Related Negotiable (DOE)

Responsibilities:

• Lead financial management for five premier restaurant locations.
• Oversee strategic financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports.
• Ensure tax compliance and manage audits specific to the hospitality industry.
• Collaborate with finance teams and other departments.
• Develop financial policies and internal controls.
• Present financial information to stakeholders and management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• Chartered Accountant (CA) designation from a recognized professional body
• 8-10+ years of financial management experience, preferably within the hospitality industry
• Proven track record in strategic financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
• Strong understanding of hospitality financial operations, including revenue management and cost control
• Expertise in preparing and analysing financial statements and reports for multiple business units
• Experience with tax compliance, audits, and financial regulations specific to the hospitality sector
• Proficiency in financial software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
• Strong leadership skills for managing finance teams and collaborating with other departments
• Excellent communication skills for presenting financial information to stakeholders and executive management
• Ability to develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to assess financial performance and identify improvement opportunities
• Capacity to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of industry trends and economic factors affecting the hospitality sector
• Commitment to ethical financial practices and adherence to corporate governance standards
