Join a dynamic RMB Global Markets Middle Office supporting front office trading desks across a broad range of products including Equities, Commodities, FX, and Interest Rate Instruments. This role sits at the heart of the trading lifecycle, ensuring accurate trade capture, valuation alignment, P&L integrity, and end-to-end lifecycle management.

You will operate in close partnership with Trading, Risk, Finance, Settlements, and Technology teams, providing critical oversight, control, and insight to ensure efficient, well-controlled, and scalable trading activity while maintaining a strong focus on risk management and operational excellence.

Are you someone who has an interest or experience in:

Supporting Fixed Income trading desks through accurate trade capture, validation, and lifecycle management of products such as bonds, repos, and interest rate derivativesPerforming trade validation and booking oversight, ensuring adherence to booking models, policies, and governance standardsMonitoring and managing the full trade lifecycle, including events such as fixings, resets, maturities, and cashflowsAnalyzing and resolving trade breaks, settlement issues, and position discrepancies, ensuring timely escalation and resolutionSupporting P&L attribution and explain, understanding key drivers such as market moves, new trades, and lifecycle eventsValidating market data inputs (e.g., curves, rates, spreads) to ensure accuracy in valuation and risk reportingPerforming position and risk reconciliations to ensure alignment between front office and downstream systemsMonitoring trade flows and STP processes, identifying failures and ensuring completeness of risk captureMaintaining strong risk and control frameworks, including break investigation, escalation, and governance adherenceContributing to process improvements, control enhancements, and automation initiatives to improve efficiency and scalabilityCollaborating with Trading, Risk, Finance, and Technology teams to support day-to-day desk activity and strategic change initiatives

You will be an ideal candidate if you have:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related disciplineAdvantageous: working towards CFA or FRM1–4 years’ experience in Trade Support, Middle Office, Product Control, or Markets Operations within a Fixed Income or broader trading environmentWorking knowledge of trade lifecycle, valuation methodologies, and P&L attribution/explainProven ability to investigate and resolve breaks, including trade, cash, position, and valuation discrepanciesStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market movements and their impact on valuations and P&LExperience working with trading platforms such as Murex or Front ArenaFamiliarity with market data inputs and their role in pricing and risk modelsProficiency in Microsoft Excel; exposure to tools such as SQL, Python, or VBA is advantageousStrong communication skills and ability to engage effectively with traders and cross-functional teamsHigh attention to detail, strong ownership mindset, and ability to operate in a fast-paced, control-focused trading environment
