PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

The purpose of this role to support the Sourcing Department in primarily its administrative duties around:

•prepayments, motivations and reconciliations

•Pricing in SAP, and transport pricing

•Refining contracts and amendments

•Monthly reporting

Additionally, to support the Sourcing team in achieving its objective of profitable, sustainable and responsible sourcing of gold by taking part in site visits, studies and other activities as defined by the Manager: Sourcing and / or the Head: Sourcing & Business Development.

SUMMARY OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDED BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

?Conduct prepayment motivations and reconciliations

?Maintain customers’ pricing data in SAP

?Finalise contracts and formulate amendments

?Maintain the contracts database

?Monthly reports (volumes and if needed profitability)

?Proactively assist in onboarding customs and winning business

?Work with self and others on responsible sourcing issues.

?Conduct mine site visits together with other team members.

?Assist in divisional IT projects as needed (automation & efficiencies).

?Assist in breakdown barriers / hurdles that prevent us from sourcing material (e.g. need to assist ASM client in developing a responsible sourcing framework, use of technology to reduce risk.
