A well-established company within the Industrial Engineering, Technical Process Solutions, and Process Instrumentation sector is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead and grow a high-performing sales team. This opportunity is suited to a commercially driven leader with strong technical sales exposure and extensive experience in solution selling and project-based sales within industries such as mining, manufacturing, automotive, FMCG, bakeries, smelters, petrochemical, and industrial processing environments.Key Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and manage the existing sales team to achieve sales growth and profitability targets Oversee a portfolio of key clients and strategic accounts Develop and implement strategic sales plans and customer growth initiatives Build and maintain strong long-term customer relationships with executive decision-makersDrive new business development and identify emerging market opportunities Monitor sales performance, forecasts, budgets, and market trends Analyse sales data, competitor activity, and profitability trends Assist with pricing strategies, promotional initiatives, and sales presentations Work closely with technical and internal teams to ensure service excellencePrepare sales reports, forecasts, and management presentations Coach, mentor, and support the sales team to achieve individual and team targets Minimum 10–15 years’ experience within the industrial, technical, or engineering sales environment Minimum 8 years’ experience in a senior sales management roleProven experience managing and leading a technical sales team nationally Strong exposure to process instrumentation, pumps, combustion systems, equipment, or industrial process solutions Proven experience in solution selling and project-based sales Financial and accounting knowledge, including financial management for non-financial managersAdvanced MS Excel skills including Pivot Tables and sales reporting Strong commercial, analytical, leadership, and negotiation skills Skills&Attributes Strategic and commercially focused Strong leadership and people management ability Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Strong planning, reporting, and organisational abilities Ability to identify market trends and business growth opportunities Hands-on management style with a customer-focused approach
