Dental Treatment Co-ordinator, Rosebank / Bedfordview, …, Johannesburg

A modern dental practice in Rosebank and Bedfordview, Johannesburg is seeking to recruit an experienced Treatment Coordinator to support patient care, treatment plan coordination, and administrative workflow within a busy clinical environment. The ideal candidate will be warm, professional, highly organised, and passionate about delivering an exceptional patient experience.

Roles and Responsibilities (but not limited to)

Coordinate and present treatment plans to patients clearly and professionally

Assist patients with understanding treatment options, timelines, and financial arrangements

Manage patient communication and follow up throughout the treatment process

Schedule appointments and coordinate treatment bookings

Maintain accurate patient records and treatment coordination logs

Liaise with dentists, laboratories, and internal team members regarding patient cases

Manage shared tracking systems, case coordination tools, and administrative workflows

Support front office and patient service functions where required

Ensure professional and efficient patient communication at all touchpoints

Assist with maintaining organised digital documentation and cloud based records

Requirements

Matric / Grade 12 essential

Minimum 3 years' experience within a dental or medical environment

Previous treatment coordination experience preferred

Diploma in Dental Assisting or Healthcare Administration advantageous

Strong dental knowledge and understanding of treatment workflows

Familiarity with medical aid and patient financial arrangements advantageous

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Experience using dental software systems, CRM platforms, POS systems, and digital tools

Previous dental industry experience essential

Working Hours Monday to Friday: 08h00– 17h00

3 Saturdays per month: 08h00– 13h00
