Overview

Our client is seeking a driven and results-oriented Sales Representative to join its growing team in Midrand. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, maintaining strong client relationships, and driving sales growth within the energy storage and renewable energy sector. This role requires a proactive individual with strong communication skills and a passion for sustainable energy solutions.

Duties&Responsibilities

Identify and develop new business opportunities within the residential, commercial, and industrial markets.

Promote and sell energy storage and battery solutions to installers, distributors, contractors, and end users.

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.

Conduct client meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations.

Prepare quotations, proposals, and sales reports.

Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.

Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.

Provide after-sales support and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

Collaborate with technical and support teams to ensure successful project execution.

Attend industry events, exhibitions, and networking opportunities when required.

Desired Experience&Qualification

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Sales, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field (Non-negotiable).

Minimum 2–5 years’ sales experience, preferably within renewable energy, electrical, solar, or battery storage industries.

Strong understanding of energy storage systems and renewable energy products advantageous.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Proven track record of achieving sales targets.

Strong customer relationship management skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport.

Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
