Compensation: R50,000 Total Monthly Package

R25,000 Basic Salary R25,000 Monthly Performance-Based Incentive (subject to achievement of prescribed KPIs)

ABOUT ALIMAMA SPACES Alimama Spaces owns and manages one of the largest short-term rental portfolios in South Africa, with a rapidly expanding footprint. We focus on operational excellence, brand positioning, and building scalable systems supported by a high-performance team.

ROLE OVERVIEW We are looking for a high-performance Social Media and Marketing Manager with a minimum of 3 years’ experience to take ownership of our digital presence, marketing execution, and brand growth.

This is a hands-on role that combines content creation, marketing strategy, and performance execution. You will be responsible for ensuring that all marketing efforts directly contribute to brand visibility, lead generation, and bookings.

This role requires someone who can think strategically, execute consistently, and measure results.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Social Media Strategy and Management Develop and execute a structured social media strategy across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and Facebook Plan, schedule and manage consistent content across all platforms Grow audience engagement, followers, and brand presenceStay up to date with trends and platform changes

Content Creation and Brand Execution Create high-quality, engaging content including video, reels, campaigns and property showcases Maintain strong brand consistency across all content Ensure content aligns with business objectives and drives engagement and conversions

Marketing Strategy and Campaign Execution Plan and execute marketing campaigns aligned to occupancy, seasonality and new property launches Support both B2C (guest bookings) and B2B (owner acquisition) marketing initiatives Develop and implement marketing strategies that drive demand and increase direct bookings

Digital Marketing and Performance Support and manage paid campaigns where applicable (Meta Ads, Google Ads, TikTok Ads) Identify growth opportunities across channels Implement strategies to improve lead generation and conversion rates

Website and Digital Ecosystem Manage website content and ensure all listings and messaging are up to date Ensure alignment between website, social media, and booking platforms Support basic SEO and content optimisation

CRM and Customer Journey Utilise CRM systems to track leads, engagement, and conversions Improve the customer journey from discovery to booking and retention Support remarketing and retention initiatives

Analytics and Reporting Track performance across marketing channels including engagement, reach, conversions and ROI Provide weekly and monthly reports with insights and recommendations Continuously optimise campaigns and content based on performance

Day-to-Day Marketing Execution Execute daily marketing tasks with consistency and attention to detail Collaborate with internal teams including operations, customer experience, and leadership Ensure all marketing efforts align with overall business goals

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Essential Minimum 3+ years experience in social media and digital marketing Proven track record of growing accounts and executing successful marketing campaigns Strong content creation skills including video, editing and visual storytelling Proficiency in tools such as Canva, CapCut, Adobe Suite and Meta Business SuiteStrong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms and engagement strategies Experience with marketing analytics and performance tracking Strong copywriting and communication skills Highly organised with strong attention to detail Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Tech-savvy and quick to learn new toolsBased in Johannesburg

Advantageous Experience in property, hospitality, travel or short-term rental industry Paid media experience (Meta, Google, TikTok) Basic SEO and website management experience CRM experience (HubSpot, Zoho or similar) Photography and videography skills Experience in both B2B and B2C or multi-brand environments

PERFORMANCE EXPECTATION This role includes a monthly performance-based incentive linked to the achievement of predefined KPIs.

KPIs will include but are not limited to:

Growth in followers and engagement Content performance and consistency Campaign performance and reach Contribution to bookings and lead generation Overall brand growth and visibility
