Event Manager position available in Johannesburg. Our Client is a leading provider of bar hospitality services for major stadiums and events. Their team delivers large-scale beverage operations for premier sporting fixtures, including the Lions and Springboks.

They are looking for a hands‑on Event Manager to lead from the front in their fast‑paced, dynamic environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Lead end‑to‑end execution of bar hospitality services for major stadium events.

Manage and motivate large, variable teams, including a core crew.

Oversee all on‑site logistics, from setup to breakdown, ensuring efficient service.

Coordinate event equipment and stock from their warehouse.

Adapt swiftly to a fluid event schedule and manage last‑minute changes.

Uphold high standards of service and efficiency during long hours and high‑pressure events.

Requirements:

Proven experience in event management, with a strong preference for stadium or large‑scale hospitality.

Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle (non‑negotiable).

A resilient, hard‑working, and trustworthy individual with impeccable punctuality.

Strong leader with proven experience managing and inspiring teams.

Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) for planning and communication.

Available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and extended travel.
