Salary Market-related (R75,000– R90,000 per month CTC, depending on experience)

Job Purpose An established company in the materials handling and industrial equipment sector is seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead a high-performing team, drive sales growth, and oversee all operational and financial aspects of the branch.

Key Responsibilities Leadership and Team Management

Lead, motivate, and develop a team of employees, including the management team.

Set clear performance objectives, provide ongoing feedback, and conduct evaluations.

Foster a positive, collaborative, and accountable work environment.

Sales and Business Development

Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and increase market share.

Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including prospecting and cultivating relationships with potential clients.

Maintain strong customer relationships to ensure high levels of satisfaction.

Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to maintain a competitive edge.

Operational Management

Oversee day-to-day branch operations, including inventory, order processing, and logistics.

Monitor and analyse branch performance metrics, including sales reports, financial statements, and inventory levels.

Implement efficient processes and best practices to maximize productivity and operational efficiency.

Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.

Financial Management

Develop and manage the branch budget, including revenue forecasting and expense control.

Monitor financial performance and implement measures to achieve profitability targets.

Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimise financial resources.

Customer Service

Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring client satisfaction.

Collaborate with the customer service team to improve service delivery and resolve customer issues.

Requirements

Proven experience in a branch or operations management role in sales-driven or industrial equipment environments.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent sales, business development, and customer relationship capabilities.

Solid financial acumen, with experience managing budgets and branch P&L.

Strong organisational, planning, and problem-solving abilities.

Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport.
