Corporate/Commercial Non-Life Underwriter, Johannesburg

You have an array of experience in commercial and specialist product lines, including P&C, Liability, Aviation, and more. You should have built solid technical skills and a strong understanding of commercial/corporate non-life insurance in general.

If you also have experience in

reinsurance underwriting/analysis

(facultative and/or treaty), that’s an added advantage. This opportunity offers training in reinsurance if you’re not yet experienced in this area, making it a great chance to break into the reinsurance space.

based in JHB, offering various commercial and corporate product lines, with several UMAs affiliated with them. They are seeking your

solid technical skills

in

risk analysis, underwriting, renewals, etc.

to support their UMAs from an underwriting perspective as a

Reinsurance Analyst .

You meet the minimum years of experience, possess the required (non-negotiable) degree in Insurance and/or Risk Management/Mathematics/Actuarial Science/Engineering/Economics/Law or LLB/similar, and have the necessary technical understanding and underwriting experience.
