Business Development Representative– Technology Consulting Location: Johannesburg or Cape Town | Remote

Salary: R20,000– R25,000 basic per month plus lucrative commission structure based on successful SAT meetings set up, from 1% up to 6% on turnover of successfully converted SDR leads.

Contract Type: Permanent.

The role offers strong earning potential through a basic salary plus commission structure and provides exposure to international markets, enterprise sales environments and emerging technology trends including AI-driven quality engineering.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and engage target accounts across sectors including financial services, retail, healthcare and telecommunications.

Conduct outbound business development through LinkedIn, email and phone engagement with senior technology decision-makers.

Book qualified meetings and generate pipeline opportunities for the sales team.

Build relationships with stakeholders across QA, DevOps, Engineering and IT leadership functions.

Maintain CRM activity, campaign reporting and pipeline tracking.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years’ experience in Sales Development, Business Development, technology sales or B2B business development.

Experience within SaaS, software services, IT consulting or technology environments preferred.

Strong communication and relationship-building capability.

Comfortable engaging senior stakeholders and initiating outbound conversations.

Self-managed, proactive and comfortable working remotely.
