Purpose of the Role This position is a Product Manager role responsible for managing assigned LFP HP Print categories within the business. The incumbent will be accountable for driving product performance, maintaining vendor relationships, supporting sales teams, and ensuring the successful execution of product strategies. The role is ideal for a candidate seeking growth and development within a fast-paced and analytical environment, and will require strong financial acumen and organizational capability.

Key Responsibilities

Product&Brand Management

Manage overall performance of assigned HP Print categories, including forecasting, pricing, stock planning, and ensuring availability.

Present product strategies, business plans, and quarterly targets to internal stakeholders and vendor counterparts.

Meet vendor expectations, reporting requirements, and contractual obligations.

Financial&Business Acumen

Develop and maintain pricing models, margin structures, and promotional proposals.

Track and manage profitability, rebates, claims, and budget adherence.

Analyse performance trends and take proactive action to maintain growth.

Work with Sales Account Managers to drive HP Print category sales in order to achieve revenue targets.

Provide product training, product roadmaps, and competitive insights to internal and external sales teams.

Operations&Stock Control

Ensure optimal stock health by monitoring aged inventory, forecasting needs, and recommending corrective action.

Manage SKU lifecycle, including onboarding of new products and EOL processes.

Maintain strong vendor relationships, ensuring alignment with brand strategy, market requirements, and commercial targets.

Work closely with marketing teams to support brand visibility, campaigns, and channel enablement.

Education and Experience

Grade 12.

3 - 5 year's experience in the same or similar role, or 2 years experience within Tarsus.

Product Certification (advantageous).

Technical Skills and Knowledge

Brand specific knowledge of product and processes.

Graphics and Large Format Print Market Knowledge

Excellent verbal and written skills.

Good understanding of the ICT industry and the ability to keep up with Technology and Industry Developments.

Proficient in MS office suite, specifically advanced skills in Excel.

Strong planning and organising skills.

Technology certified– carry all vendor certifications.
