In this role you will be responsible for:

Ensuring that the required plant availability and reliability is achieved in area of responsibility. Pro-active planned maintenance and equipment services are conducted. Effective fault-finding and repair maintenance in response to production requirements Performing standby duties and respond to breakdowns after hours.Compliance to health, safety, environment, community standards and legislative requirements.

About you:

Grade 12 N3 Certificate (including relevant trade theory) Trade Certificate (Millwright) 3 Years post-trade experience as an Artisan (Millwright) in heavy Industrial Plant/Smelter environment. Must have LV/MV switching experience and experience on variable speed drives. Knowledge and experience in instrumentation will be an advantage.A wireman’s license (Installation electrician – IE) is advantageous. Good communication skills and proficiency in electronic productivity tools (tablet, computer, etc) Medically fit, valid driver’s license and own motor vehicle
