Who are we looking for A Media Sales Specialist with TV and radio media sales experience.

What will you do As a Media Sales Specialist, you will drive our advertising initiatives across radio and television within your portfolio to achieve your target. This role requires a deep passion for sales and skilful strategic selling.

Develop and implement a sales strategy to grow a robust portfolio of new advertisers

Increase sales and drive revenue growth within your portfolio

Build and maintain strong relationships with advertising agencies and client decision-makers

Meet and exceed sales goals and targets

Understand your clients’ needs to tailor and present compelling pitches to secure high-value advertising deals

Collaborate with the internal team to ensure seamless results, from pitching to campaign executions

Understand market trends and competitor strategies to maintain a competitive edge in media advertising

What do you need

Minimum of five years of sales experience in the media advertising space

Proven ability to develop and implement sales strategies that grow a portfolio of new advertisers and drive revenue growth

Strong skills in identifying and developing new business opportunities and solutions

Track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets

Excellent relationship-building skills

Client-centric approach with a focus on ensuring client satisfaction and retention

Good knowledge of the South African Radio and TV industry

Self-driven and accountable in every step of the sales process, from prospecting to closing deals

Strong time management skills, attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating accountability and effective communication

Ability to thrive under pressure and a willingness to learn and grow in the role

Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle
