Description
Job Description This is an entry-level internal sales role within the corporate gifting division, focused on generating new business and supporting internal sales functions.

Responsibilities New Business Development (70%)

Cold call new clients (resellers and distributors) from an existing database

Introduce SMD, our brands, products, and categories

Provide suitable sales solutions and convert prospects into registered resellers

Set up external meetings, showroom visits, or product tours with potential clients

Maintain and update the CRM/database with call activity, feedback, progress, and next steps

Sales Support&Administration (30%)

Assist with internal sales processes and administration

Raise quotes and process orders on the SMD system

Prepare and send presentations to clients

Follow up on quotes and orders to ensure conversion

Requirements&Qualifications

Matric (minimum qualification)

No formal tertiary qualification required but advantageous

Experience in cold calling within a B2B environment (adaptive, not scripted)

Basic to intermediate admin and Microsoft Excel skills

Strong telephone etiquette and communication skills

Good command of English (additional languages advantageous)

Confident, proactive, and target-oriented
