A well-established company within the industrial automation and manufacturing sector is seeking a qualified Electrician to join their technical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for electrical maintenance, machine fault finding, installations, and production equipment support within an industrial factory environment. This role is suited to a hands-on individual with strong experience in industrial machinery and manufacturing operations.
The environment focuses on industrial automation systems, drives, control panels, electrical assemblies, and production-related electrical solutions within demanding industrial applications.

Minimum Requirements

• Red Seal Electrician qualification or Electrical Technicon qualification
• 3–5 years’ experience as an Electrician within an industrial, manufacturing, production, or factory environment
• Experience working on industrial machinery and production equipment
• Experience within automation, machine maintenance, or electrical control systems
• Strong electrical fault-finding and troubleshooting ability
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings
• Knowledge of motors, drives, PLCs, control panels, and industrial electrical systems
• Understanding of preventative maintenance and electrical safety standards
• Valid driver’s license will be advantageous

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform electrical maintenance on industrial machinery and production equipment
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults on machines and factory systems
• Install, wire, and commission industrial electrical equipment and machinery
• Conduct preventative and reactive maintenance to reduce downtime
• Assist with machine upgrades, modifications, and automation-related projects
• Work with motors, drives, sensors, control panels, and electrical assemblies
• Ensure all electrical work complies with safety standards and procedures
• Maintain maintenance reports and service documentation
• Support production operations to ensure maximum machine efficiency
• Attend to breakdowns, shutdown maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives
