Job Summary

Minimum 5–7 years’ experience in short-term insurance claims. At least 2–3 years’ experience in a team leader / supervisory role. Lead a team of dedicated Claims employees to obtain the lowest possible claims cost while delivering consistently high levels of service to each and every customer. Ensureaccurate and efficient claims handling in line with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Manage escalations, complex claims, and customer complaints, ensuring timely resolution. Conduct regular quality assurance checks and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborate with internal stakeholders (underwriting, legal, assessors) to resolve claims efficiently.Key Responsibilities

Oversee the end-to-end claims process across Motor, Non-Motor, and Household Contents (HOC) portfolios. Monitor team performance through KPIs, ensuring productivity, turnaround time, and customer service excellence. Provide coaching, training, and ongoing development to enhance technical and soft skills within the team.Ensure accurate and efficient claims handling in line with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Manage escalations, complex claims, and customer complaints, ensuring timely resolution. Conduct regular quality assurance checks and implement continuous improvement initiatives.Collaborate with internal stakeholders (underwriting, legal, assessors) to resolve claims efficiently. Coach, mentor and manage team members towards driving business objectives and ensuring colleague development. Continuously plan the execution of team duties against plan and service level requirements.Supervise and support the execution of priorities by team against service level agreements and customer outcomes. Ensure that all team activities are in adherence to relevant control and compliance requirements, and quality standards. Effectively fulfill all required administrative duties, including tracking and reporting.Education
