Senior Solutions Architect

The primary responsibility of the Senior Solutions Architect is to consult with the client and collaborate with internal teams to create strategies, transformational designs, and the architectural vision for solutions that address the client's needs. The role focuses on delivering multi‑technology consulting services across application software, infrastructure, and related technology components.Key Roles and Responsibilities

Understand client requirements, collect data, and deliver analysis and problem resolution. Create and contribute to the development of proposed solutions that meet client requirements. Support sales and business development teams as the technical expert on the solutions domain. Identify and evaluate alternative architectures or applications, assessing trade‑offs in cost, performance, and scalability.Produce specifications of cloud‑based or on‑premises components, tiers, and interfaces for quote‑ready designs using selected services and products. Create reports, technology roadmaps, and share knowledge and insights with clients and stakeholders. Develop multiple design views to address concerns of diverse stakeholders, handling both functional and non‑functional requirements, including proof of concept (POC).Operate across technical levels within the enterprise architecture and the value chain to develop holistic and integrated solutions. Knowledge, Skills and Attributes

Extensive knowledge of one or more hyper‑scaler applications and/or infrastructure capabilities. Demonstrable knowledge and skill in integrations for cloud‑based applications. Specialist knowledge of the full application lifecycle management for specific applications, aligned with industry standard methodologies and frameworks.Experience developing and leveraging specialist reference architectures across industry verticals (FSI, manufacturing, healthcare, retail). Extensive experience creating client proposals for services associated with application management, enhancement, or implementation. Extensive experience creating work breakdown structures to estimate effort for services related to application management, enhancement, or implementation.Experience identifying the correct commercial model for the relevant service offers and transforming work breakdowns into client‑ready commercial offers. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to maintain knowledge of trends and developments in technology domains. Academic Qualifications and Certifications

Qualification in Information Technology or Information Systems. Working knowledge of ITIL or equivalent qualification. Working knowledge of enterprise architecture methodologies (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman, SOA, ITIL, COBIT). Project management experience or qualification (e.g., Prince2 or other). Certifications on hyper‑scaler applications (e.g., Microsoft, AWS, or other).Required Experience

Advanced professional technical, IT or operations experience within a large‑scale (preferably multi‑national) technology services environment focused on software development, application support, and application enhancement services. Advanced client engagement and consulting experience, coupled with strong client needs assessment and change management skills.Advanced experience integrating solutions with business domains, enterprise concerns, industry standards, established patterns, and best practices. Experience working in an application services field. Project management experience is preferred but not essential. Workplace Type
