Role Summary
The Senior Services Architect is an advanced subject matter expert and pre‑sales persona working with clients and sales/delivery teams in a value co‑creation process to design Technical Services, Support Services&Managed Services solutions across multiple technology domains. The role develops competitive, innovative, secure, multi‑year Managed Services solutions and associated costing inputs to commercial models, and engages decision makers to help close opportunities. Key Responsibilities
Guide a virtual team of domain experts to orchestrate the development of secure, multi‑year service solutions. Design complex Professional Services (PS), Support Services (SS) and Managed Services (MS) solutions by integrating technology and service design across multiple domains. Collaborate with multiple teams to design the PS, SS&MS offering and validate new features and delivery models, recommending improvements to existing service offers. Deliver service design deliverables, interface with teams and partners to ensure supportability, and obtain sign‑off from technical, service and costing stakeholders. Lead the service design of commercially competitive solutions while mitigating risk, mapping client requirements to service elements and architectures, and driving end‑to‑end solution development (cloud services, technology architectures,SIAM, SLA, ITSM best practices).Develop and execute a consulting approach that produces consolidated statements of requirements, scope, transition documents and costing analysis, defining the AS‑IS and future state, gap analysis and roadmap. Support sales teams in presenting architecture solutions focused on cost savings or uncovering growth opportunities through client architecture discovery.Share client outcomes and market conditions with stakeholders to evolve global strategies and innovative solutions. Required Experience&Qualifications
Coaching, mentoring and advisory experience in service‑design situations. Sales support experience, including commercial model discussions with clients. Identification and accurate population of all service costs within cost models to demonstrate full cost visibility over contract terms. Creation of sign‑off on solution designs that form part ofthe commercial model.Vendor management responsibility, ensuring smooth transition to service‑delivery teams. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Technology/Systems or a related field. Certification and working knowledge of ITIL, Service Management and Integration, Automation, Artificial Intelligence and Analytics.Scaled Agile certification or equivalent desirable. Additional certifications such as AWS Cloud Practitioner Essentials, MS Azure Fundamentals or equivalent are desirable. Advanced track record of designing service solutions for large enterprise accounts and structuring multi‑year profitable contracts.Strong solution‑planning and deal‑shaping expertise, creating compelling value propositions. Experience working in global delivery environments across multiple geographies and industries. Knowledge&Attributes
Advanced knowledge of PS, SS&MS delivery and service models, including cloud, global, and distributed delivery models. Proficiency in Application and Cloud/Infrastructure PS, SS&MS service models. Ability to work with costing models in partnership with sales and finance stakeholders. Excellent communication skills to articulate potential improvements and value of solutions to all stakeholder levels. Facilitation skills for workshops with clients and internal teams to discover requirements, present solutions and secure client buy‑in.Team‑orientation, contributing to success while making personal contributions in a matrixed organization. Deep understanding of emerging technology trends: devSecOps, cloud‑native service applications, Microsoft platforms, open‑source software, Azure, AWS, GCP, data analytics, containers, RPA, IoT and intelligent automation.Analytical abilities to discover and analyze information and data. Passion for staying updated on industry trends and best practices. Workplace
