Data Management Project Lead (EDM&MDM) About the Role We are looking for an experienced Data Management Project Lead to drive the delivery of enterprise-wide data initiatives, with a focus on Enterprise Data Management (EDM) and Master Data Management (MDM).

This is a high-impact role for a delivery-focused leader who can translate data strategy into execution, coordinate across multiple business units, and embed strong data governance, quality, and architecture practices.

You will work at the intersection of business, data, and technology, ensuring alignment and successful delivery of large-scale data programmes.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end delivery of EDM and MDM programmes across the organisation

Translate data strategy into roadmaps, plans, and measurable outcomes

Drive implementation of:

Data governance frameworks

Data quality initiatives

Master and reference data solutions

Coordinate across business units to ensure consistency, alignment, and reuse

Partner with architecture and technology teams to define target data flows and integration patterns

Drive adoption of enterprise data platforms (e.g., Collibra, Informatica, Ataccama, Alation)

Establish and manage governance forums, steering committees, and stakeholder engagement

Track delivery progress, risks, and dependencies, ensuring successful execution

What We’re Looking For Experience&Skills

10+ years’ experience in data delivery, programme management, or data management in financial services.

Proven track record leading large, cross-functional data initiatives.

Strong understanding of:

Master Data Management (MDM)

Data Governance&Data Quality

Reference data and metadata management

Experience working with enterprise data tools such as Collibra, Informatica, Ataccama, or Alation.

Solid understanding of banking data domains (e.g., client, product, trade, risk).

Strong programme delivery capability (Agile / hybrid environments).

Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.

Qualifications
