We are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will play a key role in the design, planning, and management of municipal infrastructure projects, including roads, water, sewer, and stormwater systems.

This position requires a highly skilled professional with strong technical expertise, leadership ability, and project management experience.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (NQF Level 7)

Professional registration with ECSA

12–15 years experience in civil engineering design, site supervision, and contract documentation

3 years’ experience managing Expanded Public Works Programme (EPWP) type projects

Proficiency in Civil 3D

Strong knowledge of municipal infrastructure design

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage civil engineering design projects

Perform complex civil engineering designs and review technical drawings

Manage project teams including technicians, technologists, and engineers

Prepare technical reports, specifications, and contract documentation

Assist clients with project inception, costing, and planning

Monitor and administer construction contracts

Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 quality standards

Participate in tendering and procurement of new projects

Mentor and support junior engineering staff
