HOD Operations Manager, Kathu

Overview

Hire Resolve is currently working with a mining company based in the Northern Cape and is in need of a highly experienced and qualified HOD Operations Manager to join their team.

Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage all operations within the mining site. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment. Develop and implement operational strategies to improve productivity and efficiency. Manage budgets and financial performance of the mining operations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives. Mentor and provide leadership to a team of supervisors and operational staff. Monitor key performance indicators and implement corrective actions. Ensure effective communication and coordination between departments.

Requirements:

BTech / National Diploma in Electrical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering GCC Mines and Works At least 10 years of experience in mining operations, with a minimum of 5 years in a managerial role. Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale mining operations. Strong knowledge of mining regulations and safety standards. Excellent leadership and communication skills. Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Willingness to relocate to the Northern Cape.
