Description

We are looking for a Yard & Maintenance Supervisor to join our team and take charge of the yard and factory maintenance, general tidiness and housekeeping of the entire premises

Location: Springs

Key requirement

Relevant qualifications, NQF 4
2-3 years of experience in a similar role
Previous experience in operating track and chain driven machines
Licensed Code EB license
High tolerance for stress and work pressure
Computer literate

Key responsibility

Inbound and outbound machine movement , liaise with all divisions on their request to move and load or off-load
Plan and execute daily movement and parking of machines, stacking within yard
Maintain high standard with yard appearance
Maintenance, accept daily maintenance requests from internal consumers, plan and schedule, appoint and oversee till completion
Maintain functionality and upkeep of all yard equipment and machinery. Aim for consistent and reliable service to internal customer

Lead yard and maintenance team, take responsibility of the team discipline and productive usage
Accept possible emergency call-out and urgent response after hours
