Continuous Improvement Engineer, Kempton Park

Minimum requirements for the role:

• Must have a tertiary Industrial Engineering or similar qualification.
• Must have a minimum of 5 years' Continuous Improvement experience.
• Six Sigma Black Belt qualification would be preferred.
• Must have good communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Ideally have experience working at a multi-national company.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Leading and facilitating continuous improvement efforts by directing relevant staff.
• Training and improving continuous improvement staff to meet required KPI's.
• Applying Industrial Engineering methodology to improve operating performance.
• Ensuring higher production and higher levels of efficiency, resulting in cost reduction.
• Developing and improving manufacturing methods.
• Implementing efficient systems to utilise staff, equipment, materials, information and other resources.
• Designing manufacturing, information, documentation, sampling and operational systems to meet production requirements.
• Assisting in financial planning and cost analysis.
• Implementing and driving Quality Control programmes to ensure products, raw materials, processes and services meet company standards.
• Communicating data to Management for problem identification, resolution and loss reporting.
• Designing layout of equipment and workspace and rearranging organisational charts, material flow and operations sequence.
• Travelling internationally when required and communicating regularly with the global improvement team.
