An international Engineering Manufacturing Company based in Kempton Park is currently looking to employ a qualified and experienced Structural Steel Design Engineer.

 

1. Design structural components for projects, including analyzing survey, geotechnical reports and client requirements.

2. Analyzing steel and concrete structures.

3. Evaluating safety and ensuring compliance to various international codes and regulations.

4. Use AutoCAD and other drafting software programs to create 2D design and 3D models.

5. Prepare engineering reports.

6. Review drawings completed by draughtsman.

 

Qualifications and Education Requirements

BEng/BSc/BTech in Structural Engineering with 7+ years post-grad work experience.

Preferred Skills

  • Proficient with Prokon Structural Analysis
  • Proficient with AutoCAD and Revit
  • Decisive with excellent critical thinking skills

Experience with International design standards and codes will be beneficial
