JOB BRIEF

Leading water treatment solutions company seeks dynamic self-starter  to join their  with strong maintenance and fault finding  experience in ME&I Fsbrication to join their energetic technical team.

REQUIREMENTS: 

The ideal candidate is expected to mmet the below listed requrements:

• Matric/ N3/N4 
• Millright trade certificate
• Wiremans License
• 5 + years  experience as a Millright
• Expert maintenance and fault finding skills in Mechanical, Electrical and instrmentation in fabrication
• Must be computer literate
• Va;id South African driver's license
• Knowledge of water treatment plants and technologies
• Knowledge of Occupational Health and Mining Safety Acts
• Must be able to handle heights and confined spaces
• Able to work on standby and work overtime

DUTIES

• Perform all mechancial and electrical maintenance and fabrication works according to quality standards and maintenance  procedures
• Perform routine and scehduled maintenance interventions on all plant  machineray and auxillary equipment at the treatment plants
• Handle shutdowns
• Asssist with commisioning on new or modified plants
• Maintaining safety procedures 
• Housekeeping
• Ensure correct usage of equipment in the workshop
• Safegauding company assets
• Prepare equipment for inspection
• Monitor and control equiopment corrosion
• Supervison of general workers
• maintain records of performance of maintenance duties
• Control workshop equipment and tools
• Undertake related assignments as required by Field service Engineer
• Adhoc duties as requirment by nmanagement
• You will be required to undergo legal liability trainng to carry out legal appointments at serlected  sites
