Die-Cutting Operator, Kempton Park

Qualifications
• 2 to 4 years related experience as a die cutting pressman.
• Printing/packaging industry experience is desirable
• Mechanical know-how
• Must have working knowledge of the use of a PC and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Troubleshooting mindset
• Strong math skills
• Attention to detail and excellent close vision
• People-oriented

Responsibilities
• Adjusts and operates die cutting machine preparing all processes required (ex. Stripping, blanking).
• Maintains and performs minor repairs on equipment.
• Ensures total quality of the job while in operation.
• Works in a fast-paced environment and demonstrates teamwork spirit.
• Performs preventative maintenance and minor repairs on equipment.
• Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner.
• Monitor feeding, printing, and racking processes of presses to maintain specified operating
levels and to detect malfunctions, making adjustments as necessary.
• Load, position, and adjust unprinted materials on holding fixtures or in equipment loading and feeding mechanisms.
