Calling on existing and new automotive customers– Preferably OEMs

Achieving Sales Budgets

Establish, develop, and maintain business relationships with current /prospective customers in the assigned territory / market segment to generate new business for the organization

Cross selling and up selling of automotive products

Sell all other (non-automotive) products that BBT supplies

Supplier and OEM relationship management

Embrace and utilise the BBT SPI Sales Methodology (training to be given).

Embrace, maintain and complete daily and weekly the BBT inhouse CRM System- IRAS. Training to be provided.

To indirectly and directly grow sales through the division by providing excellent customer relationship building, support and channel offerings

To fully understand the customers dynamic and to work with this dynamic in creating long term relationships and brand support

To effectively communicate new products solutions into the industry and ensure customer buy-in

To take ownership of the industry and ensure a strong and professional business relationship

Develop/implement a growth strategy focusing on specific market segments in the automotive

Identify advantages and compare organization products/services

Supply management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services

Keep abreast of product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising, and promotional trends through the reading of pertinent literature and consulting with marketing and technical service area.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

A Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent

A Minimum of 5 years external sales experience

Previous Automotive Industry experience with OEMs essential and/or Tier 1 Suppliers essential

Previous tape, foams and felt experience preferable and advantageous

Proven track record and ability in building and maintaining strong customer relationship
