Electronic Technical Officer, Kempton Park

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electronic Technical Officer to join our team at our mining equipment facility in Kempton Park. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronic systems, troubleshooting, and maintenance within the mining industry.

Responsibilities:
– Install, maintain, and repair electronic systems and equipment used in mining operations
– Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues with electronic components
– Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to ensure equipment functionality and safety
– Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on electronic systems
– Document and report on equipment status, repairs, and maintenance activities
– Follow all health and safety protocols and regulations

Requirements:
– Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field
– Minimum of 3 years of experience working with electronic systems 
– Strong understanding of electrical and electronic principles
– Experience with PLC systems and automation technology
– Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Good communication and organizational skills
