Quantum Insights is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Help Desk Administrator to join our team on a full-time basis. As a Help Desk Administrator, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our internal employees and external clients. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about technology and enjoys helping others.
Key Responsibilities:
Respond to and resolve technical support requests from employees and clients via phone, email, or in person
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues, including desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals
Install and configure software applications and updates
Maintain and update user accounts and security permissions
Monitor and maintain network and system performance
Collaborate with IT team members to identify and implement process improvements
Document and track all support requests and resolutions in our ticketing system
Provide training and guidance to employees on technology best practices and procedures
Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and industry trends
Participate in after-hours on-call support rotation as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a help desk or technical support role
Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems
Experience with troubleshooting hardware and software issues
Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional are a plus
